NABU Director Semen Kryvonos held a meeting with Rob Jones, Director General for Operations at the UK National Crime Agency (NCA), and NCA representatives.

The parties discussed the current cooperation between the agencies and outlined promising areas for further collaboration.

The NABU Director expressed his gratitude to the British partners for their consistent support of the National Bureau, particularly in strengthening the capabilities of its digital forensics laboratory. He noted that the specialised equipment provided by the partners has significantly enhanced the efficiency of forensic examinations and the collection of critical information needed to build a solid evidence base.

For their part, NCA representatives highlighted the National Bureau’s significant achievements in investigating corruption-related crimes, including amid the current challenges faced by the Bureau.

It should be recalled that in April 2021, NABU and the NCA signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on information exchange to enhance efforts in combating organised crime.
