On Nov. 22, 2021, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) issued an indictment against a judge of the Sumy Region Commercial Court who is charged with accepting an undue benefit of USD 4 thousand. The actions of the accused fall under Part 3 Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
On Nov. 9, 2021, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) caught a judge of the Chernihiv District Administrative Court accepting a USD 20 thousand bribe.
On Nov. 2, 2021, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) referred the case of embezzling the National Guard of Ukraine's UAH 81.64 million to the High Anti-Corruption Court.
NABU and SAPO have completed a special investigation into the former Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources under President Yanukovych, who is suspected of an attempt to bribe the leadership of anti-corruption agencies to close criminal proceedings against him. On Oct. 28, 2021, the case materials were disclosed for review. The actions of the suspect fall under Part 3 Art. 27, Part 4 Art. 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
NABU and SAPO have completed an investigation of the former acting director of a state enterprise and the Head of the Main Department of the State Geocadastre in Vinnytsia region. Both are charged with stealing 17.11 hectares of especially valuable land, which caused UAH 11.6 million in damage to the State. The actions of the suspects fall under Part 5 Art. 191 and Part 1 Art. 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
