The economic effect of NABU and SAPO activities in the first half of 2026 reached UAH 2.06 billion.

NABU and SAPO have established new facts in the criminal proceeding concerning abuses within the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine (SSSCIP) during the procurement of drones for Ukraine’s Defense Forces in 2023. The total amount of losses caused to the state has increased from UAH 90 million to UAH 254 million.

In the first half of 2026, NABU and SAPO maintained a high pace of countering high-level corruption. The reporting period was marked by a series of high-profile exposures in the energy and defense sectors, as well as among high-ranking officials. 

NABU and SAPO have served a notice of suspicion on a former deputy prime minister and minister of justice for illicit enrichment of over UAH 13.9 million and for filing false asset declarations.

NABU and SAPO have served a notice of suspicion on an individual who demanded USD 1 million to help prevent a citizen's possible extradition to the aggressor state.
