NABU and SAPO have notified the head of a regional council and his wife — an MP of the 9th convocation — of suspicion of submitting false asset declarations.
NABU and SAPO, together with the Come Back Alive Foundation, are joining forces to enhance the state's defense capabilities and strengthen integrity in the security sector. These intentions are formalized in a Memorandum of Strategic Partnership signed by NABU Director Semen Kryvonos, SAPO Head Oleksandr Klymenko, and the Foundation's Director Taras Chmut.
Detectives of NABU's Internal Control Department and the Third Detective Unit, in cooperation with SAPO, have exposed a prosecutor of the Prosecutor General's Office and two lawyers for inciting a bribe of USD 3.5 million. The funds were allegedly intended for SAPO prosecutors and judges of the High Anti-Corruption Court to close a criminal proceeding investigated by NABU detectives.
This was emphasized at the meeting in Kyiv between NABU Director Semen Kryvonos, SAPO Head Oleksandr Klymenko, European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, and the Minister for European Affairs of Denmark Marie Bjerre.
NABU and SAPO have notified a Kyiv judge of suspicion of illicit enrichment and declaring false information.
